Pets or objects to torture?

animals similar to humans, they have feeling and they know when somethings not right.  They deserve to be loved, cared for and to have freedom. People dont understand that and just think of there pet as something to dress up and show off. How would you feel if you were in that position? Most people would say that it would be fun to be dressed up and showed off, but the only think of that as if it were for a day, not a lifetime. You would get bored of it after a while. If dogs could speak i garuntee you that they would love to change there lives or atleast be treated as if they were just like us.

How Many Animals are there out there being abused?

About 300 animals are abused each day. You may think thats alot, but with the way the economy is more and more animals are being neglected and abused each day. People dont put there animals as a big priority when there leaving or they are going somewhere for the day. If you put yourself in the animals shoes and think of how they feel when there left out or not fed, would you want to be treated like that? Think about that question......

Are kennels more of a good thing or bad?

I think kennels arent a good place for animals to be because of the way they are run. the animals that are being taken care of are locked up in cages and treated like they arent important. When you leave your animals in a place like this you would think that for the money you spend and how nice the people are that your pets would be treated soo nicely, but thats only until you leave. I do agree with people that there are good places to leave your pets where they will be treated nicely and with respect, but its hard to belive that all of them are like that when there are all these documentary films out there that prove to us that what you see isnt the truth.

Why are people so abusive to there animals?

Most of the time when owners are abusing there animals they may not mean to or know it. Animals are like people they go to the bathroom, need food, water, excercise, and love. Many people dont think of it like that any jus think "its a dog, it will be fine," but what if someone said that to you, would you feel sad and left out? i think so. I think that if animals could talk or atleast have a way to say what they need to say then there wouldnt be as much abuse against them. Alot of owners have little excuses for why there animals got hurt, but they dont include the source of who, when, what, and why this happend. I heard about a new organization that might start up soon that helps save animals and is taken place in a large building where the dogs can roam around and do there own thing, not be locked in a cage. I have talked to a few kids about doing someting like that, but theres not enough kids that are devoted enough and willing to take there free time to get a plan together. Theres soo many people out there that want to do something about it,but dont know where to start. If we got a group of 20-30 people that are very devouted and caring about animals then i think we could really stop the crime rate against animals.

Why are people so cruel to animals?

There are many pet owners out there that either dont care about there pets, or dont know the correct way. With this kind of economy pets are one of the major things that get neglected. People dont think about how there animals feel when they are starved or thirsty, alot of them think of it as "its a dog, it can find food and water itself." Its sad to think about all the animals out there that have no food, water or shelter. There are many orgainizations out there that say they are out to save the animals and give them better homes, but thats not always true. Many of them lock the animals up in small cages and take them out 1-2 times a day, which is not enough. How would u feel if you were in a cage for 20 hours a day and only gotten taken out twice for 2 hours each time? I think that if everyone thought of it like that, then they would realize how good we have it and how bad animals get treated. The other major factor in animal cruelty is making them are food. If you could see what the factorys inject in those animals you would be disgusted. Some places beat the animals before they chop them up. There are many other methods of torturing these poor animals and it needs to STOP NOW!  Theres not many people out there that really care that much to stand up and put a say in about animal cruelty.
